Welcome to our unwavering, supportive community of foster caregivers. We are so glad you are here. We understand the unique challenges and rewards that come with fostering, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Online Community

Connect with other foster parents in our online community. Share experiences, seek advice, and find encouragement from those who understand your journey.

In-Person Events

We regularly host in-person events for foster caregivers. These gatherings provide opportunities to build relationships, share stories, and gain valuable insights and support.

The Foster Care Closet

Fostering Community’s Foster Care Closet is a free resource to support foster families. We offer a wide range of items including clothing, school uniforms, baby gear, beds, shoes, and much more!

  • Operating Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9am to 12pm.

  • Appointments: Appointments are not required, but can help us prepare for your visit. Can't make it during our regular shopping hours? That's okay! We will pack bags and leave them outside for an after-hours porch pickup. Just leave a comment on the notes of your appointment.

You+Co

Our Youth Development Program (You+Co) provides resources, support, and experiences for youth to build resiliency and reach their fullest potential. Youth are engaged with youth community nights, a youth action board, personal growth opportunities, and in-depth case management services. The Youth Action Board is made up of current and former foster youth who co-design and execute all of our programs, advocate on behalf of youth in our community, assist in grant writing, engage in the judicial system, and more.

Supervised Family Visitation Center

When we first opened the doors at Fostering Community’s Prescott location, our goal was to create a special place where families could create memories and begin the process of rebuilding relationships. Our welcoming environment, complete with an indoor space and an outdoor playground, is the perfect place for parents to bond and make memories with their children. To reserve a time slot for a family visit, please have your caseworker schedule an appointment using this calendar.
